Why I’ll Never Be A Successful Blogger; AKA- I’m Baaaack!

Blogging seems to be a tricky business, in which you either fail, or succeed. There are times, that I wonder why I began at all. Truth be told, there are times that it seems to zap the strength out of me. Hence, the reason for the break.
I feel myself “owing” others in my life. Trying [...]

Taking A Blogging Break This Week…

I shut my laptop last week, and opened it for the first time today. Oddly, after the first day, I didn’t seem to miss the blogosphere, and beyond. Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, Blogs, Forums, and more- Sometimes it feels overwhelming to keep up with it all. Or, when I have been away from the computer, return [...]

Finish This Sentence

When I wake up in the morning…

I typed the above fragmented sentence as the title for a post recently, and then never got back to it. Tonight, I was leafing through my unfinished posts, and saw that title. Wondering, what I was going to write about. Bored, I googled “When I wake up in the morning”.
Holy-grossness of all things- I found this. Dude. DUDE. Get that checked out!

Now, go finish that sentence.

Pregnant Man Gives Birth

Pregnant Man Gives Birth

Remember the pregnant man who was on Oprah a while back? Basically, Thomas Beatie was a female until he hit his 20’s, when he decided to become a male. He took the meds, and obtained a surgery that basically formed the vaginal lips in to a penis. Something like that. Later on, he married a woman, who had an hysterectomy due to complications from endometriosis. Later on, they decided to have a child, and used donor sperm to impregnate Thomas, who had kept his reproductive organs. Well, she, or he, gave birth to a healthy baby girl recently.

Wordless Wednesday- Fire Pit Cookout

Ailane loves hot dogs. Jason and I? Not so much. Jason ate them enough as a child to do him for a while, and my parents think processed foods are the root of all things ruining the earth. Seriously. We never ate them, and as a result, I feel strange having them in my house. Eating a hot dog at a ballpark, is another matter in entirety. I have no issue there. My Mother once questioned my parenting when she saw me make Ailane a grilled cheese sandwich with processed cheese. It was then and there, that she realized that I had become one of those “cityfied people”. Tragic.
