Florida or Bust

Jason realized that I needed a break, so the kids and I tagged along to Orlando with him this week. He goes in to the office today, and then the rest of the week we will be dragging our kids to Disney World, Universal Studios, and more.

It was a much needed mental break for me. I needed this vacation and feel a burden lightened… even though I was a bundle of nerves yesterday on the flight here. Blake’s first airplane ride was quite an adventure in itself. We were “those people” with the crying, laughing, hanging-on-the-back-of-the-seat baby. I apologized profusely to those around us. And, thought over and over again that hopefully their own day of reckoning would come one day soon when they themselves decide to procreate, and wreak havoc on the airlines.

Posting will be light this week, and I’ll instead post pictures with captions daily. We come back Saturday, and I’ll update you on things next week. That is, if my brain isn’t fried from the sand and sun. This vacation might serve as a much-needed lobotomy of sorts.
