Blake

not an April Fools kind of girl

Last night, I was all, “I’m going to get up in the morning and write something to mess with my readers. Maybe say that I just signed up to run a marathon, that it snowed in Texas, or report that I am pregnant with triplets.”

Then, Blake decided to stay up from 2:15 am on, wanting to walk. And, walk. And, talk. And, when I went to write this post, I realized that all three of those things tie together. Because I probably walked a 5k through our house last night, and it will be a cold day in Texas (or Hell… depends on how you look at the Lone Star state) before I think about having another baby in the next 9 months. At some point, I would like to sleep. Or, at least master the art of sleep-walking.

  5. He didn’t get that from his father! His hairline probably…but he never kept me up at night….well, not until he was much, much older anyway! Wish I were closer to do some of that talking and walking for you!

  6. It’s almost funny how it backfired on you. I did say ‘almost’ because going without sleep is not fun. Hope you get to catch up on your sleep soon.
