“Mom, do you have any Madonna CD’s?”
“No, why?”
“Because she is soooo cool.”
“Really? I once had some of her cassettes, before I started ripping free music off of the internet.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Well, sometimes I “borrow” music by downloading it–”
“No, what was that word you just said.”
“What? Cassettes?”
“Yeah.”
“Umm, they were kinda like miniature VHS tapes, before CD’s came out.”
“VHS?”
“Yeah, they came after betas. Around the time of Fragglerock, when all kids wanted Teddy Ruxpin, He-Man, and Kid Brother or Sister. Oh, and we would have Koosh ball wars during the summers.”
“You are making all of that up.”
“No, I’m not.”
“You’re weird.”
“Well, that happens when you are older than dirt. Someday, your kids won’t have a clue what Webkinz are.”
“Whatever.”
LOL I was a huge She-Ra fan!
That is hilarious!
I loved Fraggle Rock

I’m laughing cause I remember black and white tv!! Oh yeah, and the Beatles!! Is my age really showing?
LOL! That’s cute!
Oh dear! Reading this makes me feel really old but nevertheless astonished at the reality that most kids were born at the start of CDs…ah yes, my first CD was Ace of Base!
Now THAT made me smile. I think we must be around the same age then because I remember all of that stuff
